How can I critique such a beautiful piece? Please bear with me this my first critique online.. The use of colors and brush work really pushes this painting. I really love those flicks of detail. By flicks I mean the glint in those eyes the cracks of the weapon and the scales of the skin. Just by adding those details goes a long way. The composition asymmetrical and not original. But it is necessary by having the alligator in the center of the picture plain conveys its importance. The only thing that does need defining the neck and the chest. Make those transitions a little bit more smoother
